Composer

As a multi-instrumentalist I enjoy creating original soundtrack and theme music for audio and film projects. I have finished pieces that can be licensed or I can work with you to create a bespoke piece of music.

Music was my entry point to other audio work but it took me a little bit to realize that I should be composing the music for my own show. Making this change increased the quality of my podcast because I could create a sound that was consistently me, even with the variety of moods and styles I'm conveying. In my pieces I blend acoustic and electronic elements to create audio experiences rich in feeling without overpowering the story being told.

Please contact me if you're interested in learning more about how we might work together.

Singer/Songwriter

I've been creating original music since I was 10 years old. In 2013 I, in collaboration with my friend Christopher Lewis, released an album, Crown of Fog. While I've moved towards more simplicity and rawness in my current writing and recording, it marked an important turning point in my capacity to create larger bodies of work and put them out into the world.

A recent musical project has involved inviting patrons of my podcast, A Therapist Walks Into a Bar, to send me random words which I have to incorporate into a song. This is fitting with my lyrical style which at times is influenced by Thom Yorke's Dada-esque approach to songwriting - the words and music come together and the analysis of meaning comes after. You can find two of those pieces here.
